The grey curtains

Weight 173lbs

Today was a bloody nightmare. Got to the gym with bird poop on my track suit bottoms and then attempted a spin class which ended horrendously. I walked out 10 minutes in feeling dizzy and sick! I would of stayed in the class if I didn't think I was going to flop off the bike. Oh well tomorrow is my induction, hopefully that bastard of a spin instructor isn't going to be my trainer. 

Today I ate a banana and breakfast biscuits for breakfast, obviously, then I had a nandos salad for lunch which was only 305kcal! I have then been bad and snacked this afternoon. I have had a muller yogurt and some biscuits.. I need to say no to biscuits. My total calorie intake is no more then 1400kcal.

Half day update

Just thought I'd let you know how spin went,.

I left 10 minutes in as I was about to faint! Holy shit! It was only a beginners class too.

I'm the new girl!

Weight: 173lbs

First day at the gym today. I learnt two things. 1) Primark £3 plimsols will not do #ouchy and 2) if your gonna wear tummy control briefs make sure you pack a spare pair of nick knocks in your gym bag. Thankfully my workout leggings aren't see through. 

I was so nervous and had worked up a full sweat without even leaving the changing room. Luckily it was mid morning and most of the patrons were ladies of a certain age attending a Pilate 50+ class. I have been a member of gyms before where I felt like I was on a TOWIE set and I had felt so awkward, but this wasn't so bad.

Anyhow, I decided to see how my body reacted to physical activity. I completed about an hours worth of light cardio and although I was rather sweaty I didn't feel too awful apart from my feet which were rammed into the stupid plimsolls. After I had a go on the machines I changed into my cozzie and went down to the 'Spa' area... Now we're talking. It's your normal set up. Swimming pool, steam room, sauna, tropical shower, hot beds, foot spas and a jacuzzi. I did a few lengths, nothing major I guess I didn't want to look lazy, then I took advantage of the steam room. 

That's really it, so I guess it comes down to what I have eaten. I have struggled today. I could literally snack all day! For breakfast I had some breakfast biscuits and a banana, for lunch I had a yogurt, sushi and some edamame beans, for dinner I had a small pasta pot (273 kcals) then I had 4 digestives and a banana. I think I have to get it into my head that the biscuits would take a lot of hard work to burn off and not eat mindlessly.

So day 1 completed. Only another 89 to go... Tomorrow is spin. X

I'm sorry, do we know you?

.......is probably the question our asking me right now.  So I have been away. A lot of new life decisions have been made in the last few months and I didn't need the distraction of blogging. In short I quit my job and became a full time Mum. Whilst this in theory is a beautiful idea it can be a little lonely.

So let me bring you up to speed. I still love makeup. I still read about it ,I still invest in it and I still can't get enough. My main personal issue at the minute is my weight. I'm not happy with it. I know I gave birth a year ago but it's time to start shifting some of this timber. Today I joined a gym, however unfortunately the weight didn't just come off at this point, turns out I have to actually put some work in. I'm going to be honest with you on a good day I weigh 173lbs I want to weigh 140lbs! This leaves me with the mammoth task of losing 33lbs. I am 5'4" and at the minute a very tight size14. I hope that after my weight loss I will be looking at a tight 10. 

I'm using this blog to log my weight loss so that I can give a realistic overview of what it takes. I hope to log what I eat and what exercise I do. I also think that it will be amazing to look back on this once I have hit my target. I hope to be at least 151lbs on the 1st of September (which is my friends wedding) I am hoping that by the beginning of October I have reached my goal. So any tips or tricks you have to help, please let me know.
